Captain Thomas Thomson was the son of Colonel Patrick Thomson [SSNE 3670] and Agneta Linnartsdotter Svenske. He died in 1677 a couple of months after the battle of Lund. He left behind a widow, Ingaborg Kruse. We find much of interest in her collection of correspondence which also includes notarial copies of letters pertaining to Thomas' grandfather, Colonel Thomas Thomson [SSNE 1648].
