George Monro was listed as a lieutenant in captain of horse Enevold Dille's cavalry company in 1657. In 1658 he was a lieutenant in Axel Urup's cavalry regiment and was reformed during the seige of Copenhagen. In 1660 he was a lieutenant in Lauritz Jagwisch's infantry regiment.
