Robert Logan was a Scottish sailor serving under Captain Corstiaen Eldertsz before being transferred to Captain Rut Jacobss Buis around May 1659. He named his younger brother James Logan, living in "Eert" (Ayr?), heir to half of his possessions, and left the other half to his landlord Ritchard Valckenier. Valckenier and his wife, Maertge Andriesdr, likewise appointed Logan to handle their business in case of their deaths. Before his transfer, Logan had been serving under Eldertsz with John Brys [SSNE 7949], another Scot from "Eert." The two had also named Valckenier as their landlord.
