Philip O'Sullivan Moore was listed as 'O'Sullivan Moore' but actually signed himself O'Sullivan Mor, (the great O'Sullivan in Gaelic). He 'kapituleret' an infantry regiment of 10 companies at 100 men each from Ireland in 1657 although O'Sullivan's regiment is consistently referred to as Irish-Scottish in the Danish archives. In 1659 O'Sullivan sought release from Danish service as King Charles II was again trying to win his kingdom. Seemingly only one battalion under Major James/Jacob de Leon arrived with only 80 men in Gluckstadt in 1658.
