Thomas Crieff was a Danzig-based Scottish merchant where he was a burgess. He had a wife and family in Danzig. He was killed in Stockholm before 24 July 1594 by another merchant, Hans Rode from Reval, according to whom it was an accident. Rode had paid 100 daler compensation money to the Stockholm court which a James Crieff [SSNE 6750] had claimed but never collected. Thomas' nephew, Robert Crieff [SSNE 6748] came to Sweden to collect it in July 1595.
