Anne Sophie Carmichael was born in Courland and married the Danish born Scot, Hans Jack of Elsinore [SSNE 1111]. He probably met her when he entered the service of the Prince of Courland c.1651, though details of this service are sketchy. They returned to Elsinore where he died, leaving her and his daughter from a previous marriage, Maria (or Maren) Lisbet [SSNE 6629] to share the net assets of the estate worth 30 daler.T.
