Sara Muttum was born at 'Liie' in England in 1591 and married the Scottish merchant based in Denmark, David Melvin [SSNE 1159]. Together they paid for part of the choir screen in St Olai church in 1652. She died on 4 May 1665 without any children. Melvin set up an epitaph for her in St Olai.
