An officer by the name of Pomfrey served first in the Danish-Norwegian army in 1627. He was a captain in Colonel Donald Mackay's [SSNE 93] regiment. He then joined the Swedish army in 1629, serving as a captain in the Uppland regiment, but he is noted as dead in the same year
