HAY, ROBERT [SSNE 52]
Text source
By 1660, Robert Hay wanted to return to Scotland with his wife and children. Frederik III gave him a letter of reccomendation on 1/6/1660 in which he is mentioned as "overvagtmester" of Scottish origin. The fact that he desired to return suggests that Scotland was his country of origin.
