Gideon Keith was in Danish-Norwegian service in Colonel Donald Mackay's [SSNE 93] regiment. He was at the garrison at Gluckstadt in July 1628. By September he was a reformed lieutenant, and soon transferred with the regiment to Swedish service. He was killed in action at Neu Brandenburg in 1630.
