Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Forbes died in Holstein, shortly after his arrival in Danish-Norwegian service in 1626. He was in Colonel Donald Mackay's [SSNE 93] regiment. His son [SSNE 502] died soon after him in the same service. He is mentioned by William Forbes [SSNE 2262] in his "Memoriale“ as "Arthur Forbes of Towir".R.
