Edward Jordan was the father of Edvard von Jordan [SSNE 2755] who became ennobled in Sweden. Edward received land in Ingermanland through royal donations from Gustav II Adolf in 1623. He established farms on his land. He became a lieutenant colonel in 1641 and a full colonel in 1649. Jordan left the army after a disagreement with his superiors and died before 1660. He was married to Gertrud Kubick or Krumbeck.
