Thomas Reid studied first at the college of Douai in France in 1605. As 'Aberdonensis' he matriculated at the University of Rostock in 1608 and thereafter moved to Danzig after 1621. He also took on the role of Latin Secretary to James VI and IDie Matrikel der Universitat Rostock, (Rostock, 1889); W.
