Text source

Louis Sinclair served as captain of horse in the Fyn infantry regiment of the Danish-Norwegian army in 1672-7. In action in Malmø Oct. 1676, but had died by the 30th of that month. His servant Jørgen Craul had been with him for 18 years by the time of his death - suggesting that Sinclair had been in service for at least that amount of time. It is possible that this is the same man as SSNE 1313, but the regiment and date of death given are slightly different.
