James Drummond served in the regiment of John Hamilton. This regiment was taken over by Ludovick Leslie [SSNE 396] and served at the battle of Lutzen. This is possibly the James Drummond, 2nd son of the 2nd Lord Maderty who is said to have been an officer in foreign service. He is possibly the same man as [SSNE 2406]
