A letter from the Lords to the Lord Mayor dated 5 July 1628 concerns one Captain Francis Trafford, in the King of Denmark's service, who received permission and help to enlist 80 idlers and vagabonds. According to Robert Monro [SSNE 94], he and his company were Welsh and arrived in Denmark in late 1628 or early 1629.
