PAUCKER, DAVID [SSNE 1501]
David 'Paucker' (a Danish word for drummer) was a musician in Danish-Norwegian royal service: he played the kettle-drum, for which a reference to him is dated 19/10/1596. He is also noted as owning a house in Kongensgade at Copenhagen 19/10/1621, implying that he was settled in Denmark.
