Alexander Johnson acted as the Skriver (bailiff) of Roskildegaard by 25/9/1635. He had been guardian in respect of 200 rixdollars' capital to Jorgen Poulsen's children. JOhnson also had an expectancy of enfeoffment (for himself and his wife Johannne Jacobsdatter) of the church's part of the corn tithes of the parishes of Reerslev and Karlslunde 10/1/1641. By 1639 he served as bailiff in Roskildegaard's district. He proved reluctant to pay part of some fines to his superior, the governor of Roskilde. He was therefore fined by the Supreme Court. He lost the tithes on 15/6/1646 when they again became vacant. He was though a Burgess of Roskilde by that year although he had by then lost his post as bailiff.
