William Adamson was in royal service at Kronborg when he bought a ship-wrecked vessel from an Englishman on 24/11/1625. He imported English beer 7/5, and 6/6/1628. He became authorised to catch falcons, if necessary by proxy, in certain districts of Iceland 15/5/1628 and 18/8/1631 with a promise of extension of authorisation to certain districts of Norway on 19/5/1635. He was later authorised for his lifetime to catch falcons in Scania, Halland and Blekinge 20/6/1636. Adamson rented his dwelling, and apparently had 14 pictures. He had died by 17/11/1636, when his estate (net assets c.418 daler) was divided between his unnamed widow and the other heirs; apparently no children.
