In 1626, Rosenkrantz arrived with his credentials and instructions to be delivered to Charles Stuart. He also had credentials for the Queen. On the 1st and 2nd of September, Rosenkrantz spoke first to the Stuart statesmen and then to the English Parliament. In 1628, Rosencrantz was the Danish Resident in France. He received a creditive to act as an extraordinary legate to the Stuart King and Queen and also the "senatores regni Britanniae" which Marquard translates as the English Parliament although that is clearly not what is said. He arrived in London 13/05 bringing a request for help from King Christian IV.NLS MS 7002-7003, Yester Writs, no.14, Seaforth at London to Yester, 13/05/1628, reference provided by Aonghas Maccoinnich; E.
