This section of the guide is intended to provided a more 'in depth' introduction to the basic ideas and methods of modern electronics. It won't tell you everything, but if you already have some knowledge of Physics and aren't frightened of the odd equation, it should help you to understand the topic.

Note that this section doesn't always tell the full story. Its main aim is to give you an understanding and hence the confidence to learn more if you want to. For convenience it is divided up into eleven parts, each a few pages long. If you want you can read the whole thing starting at the beginning! However, in the spirit of the Web, I expect that you'll prefer to dip in at the places which seem interesting...
