Automatic generation of regular factorial designs for crossed and nested factors and its implementation in R

Abstract:
Regular factorial designs are orthogonal designs based on an algebraic method of construction, in which treatments and units are identified to the elements of finite abelian groups. The method allows to generate different kinds of designs of great interest in practice. In this talk, I will show how it has been implemented in the R package PLANOR, allowing to generate designs for user-specified combinations of crossed and nested factors.
