Thank God for that! Everyone who entered scored well on Problem 4. Indeed, they all scored full marks except for Red Haze, who says 'Ruff' when he means 'Finesse', and forgets to specify his line of play in full. No doubt a hard day at the office.
Problem 5 was a different kettle of fish. Only Rockman and Mr. 3NT saw it all, and since Mr. 3NT saw something else that even God himself had not noticed, he gets 2 bonus points. The Wizard finally got there, but needed a lot of help, and so scores only 5. By this cunning manipulation of the scores, God has brought it about that Mr. 3NT is this term's winner by a single point from The Wizard, who managed to just pip the excellent Rockman. Congratulations to all. Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes will be awarded next time I see the competitors:
