Summer schools and programmes
The University of St Andrews offers a number of summer schools and programmes each year. These programmes are taught by full-time members of the faculties of the University, and are open to students and individuals from around the world. For students who are interested in experiencing what it is like to study at the University of St Andrews or are looking for a taste of university life, a summer school may be the perfect opportunity.
The summer academic experience courses give high-school students aged 15 to 18 the chance to experience student life at the University.
Designed for senior high school students, these courses offer an introduction to several subjects combined with English language development.
Summer school options for international students who wish to take an English language programme during the summer months.
Selected S5 and Year 12 students with academic potential have the opportunity to sample life at St Andrews at a one week summer school.
