International Undergraduate Scholarship
These entrant scholarships are for international students who will be studying at St Andrews for an undergraduate degree. The scholarships will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction of up to £4,000 per year for each year of the student's undergraduate studies and will be awarded on the basis of financial need.
In order to be eligible, applicants must be able to demonstrate a gross annual household income below the average household income for your country, students should refer to the "How to apply" section below for more information on country specific household income.

This scholarship is available for application through Scholarships and Funding. After you have applied to a new course beginning in the 2018-2019 academic year, you can access Scholarships and Funding through My Application from early October.

If you are including a Student Aid Report (SAR) with your scholarship application, please upload this in place of the household income evidence requested in the scholarship application form. This copy of your student aid report is for your scholarship application only and will not be transferred to the University’s Finance Department for processing your loan application.
Household income will be assessed on below average country specific income rates (for the current year), please convert your local currency to Pounds (GBP) and indicate the exchange rate used in your application. At what stage of my course application can I apply for this scholarship?
Please apply for the scholarship after you have submitted your application for a place at St Andrews. You do not need to wait until you have received an offer of a place before applying for the scholarship.
When will I hear if my application has been successful?
The outcome of your scholarship application will be available on "View my applications" in the Scholarships and Funding section of My Application by mid April 2018.
