Student Immigration Service

We provide specialist support to international students who require a visa to study at the University of St Andrews. Comprised of the International Student Advice team and the Compliance team, each team has different responsibilities towards our students and institution.

International Advice team (advint@st-andrews.ac.uk) - Provides guidance and advice to students on a range of UK student-related immigration matters including: how, when and where to apply | dependants | lost passports and BRP's | visas for short-courses or residential sessions | staying, living, and working in the UK | Graduate visa.

Immigration Compliance team (visas@st-andrews.ac.uk) - Ensures the University meets its student sponsor obligations. Provides information and guidance on all matters relating to Student visa compliance including: Matriculation | ID and Confirmation checks | Visa expiry notifications.
