The Semester 2 part-time fees scholarship is available to cover the tuition fees for your first semester of part-time study if you start in January.
If your personal earned or pension income is under £25,000 and you are taking 20 credits (one module) in your first semester, you can apply for this scholarship.
You would otherwise be eligible for the SAAS part-time fee grant, but you won't qualify for SAAS funding in your first semester. This is because SAAS requires you to be studying a minimum of 30 credits per academic year, between September and May.
To be eligible for SAAS funding you must earn less than £25,000 per year in gross income, before tax and national insurance. For more information about SAAS funding for part-time study, please refer to the SAAS website. The lifelong learning team will send you more information about applying for SAAS funding before the start of each academic year in September.
Please see the Combined Studies webpage for more information about funding and scholarships for part-time study.
