St Leonard’s Postgraduate College is pleased to announce the College’s Postgraduate Travel Awards scheme, which supports postgraduate students with any travel that would benefit their research and development.

Applications for the award are open to all postgraduate students who are matriculated at the University of St Andrews for any postgraduate degree. The grant can cover travel expenses towards travel, accommodation and subsistence for any trips taken up to July 2026.

Additional criteria

  • Fully matriculated students at the University of St Andrews for any postgraduate degree (including co-tutelle PGR students while they are based at St Andrews)
  • Applicants will be required to submit:
    • Project outline, including an explanation on how the proposed travel will support the research and development of the student
    • Budget outline
    • Travel booking receipts or travel expenses quotations
    • Short academic reference from supervisor or tutor (alternatively, references can be submitted directly to stlc@st-andrews.ac.uk)

How to apply

  1. Log into MySaint and go to the My Applications tab, open eVision applications, and then Scholarships and funding. 
  2. Click View the scholarships and funding catalogue to apply.
  3. Select 2025/6 as the Academic Year and click Refresh list.
  4. Locate St Leonard's College Postgraduate Travel Award in the list of scholarships (using the filter box if necessary), click Apply and complete the application form.
