International Excellence Scholarship

For entrant undergraduate students, the selection committee seek candidates who are typically confident, dynamic, gifted students with academic excellence. The successful candidates should be prepared to serve as a Student Ambassador for the
Accommodation Award - International
2025 entry
For international entrant undergraduate applicants, a minimum of £1,750 to help with the cost of accommodation while studying in St Andrews. Selection is based on financial need.
George McElveen III Scholarship
2025 entry
For entrant undergraduate students from North or South Carolina, Georgia or Virginia who have an interest in golf. This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of financial need.
International Undergraduate Scholarship
2025 entry
For entrant undergraduate students, the scholarships will be awarded as an overseas tuition fee reduction of up to £10,000 per year for each year of the students undergraduate studies and is awarded on the basis of financial need.
Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Studentship Funding

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) fund research and training in engineering and the physical sciences. EPSRC Studentship Funding pays full fees and stipends at the UKRI rate for students that meet the eligibility criteria

Science and Technology Facilities Council studentship funding

The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) provide St Andrews with funding for up to four studentships each year via an annual quota to the Schools of Physics and Astronomy and Mathematics and Statistics.
AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership studentships

The AHRC-funded studentship competition opens each autumn for students starting the following September providing a personal and professional development programme to complement the postgraduate training already being undertaken at St Andrews.
