Departmental prizes and medals
A number of academic prizes are awarded each year to students who meet set criteria. Many of these prizes are competitive.

Distribution of Class Medals
Medals awarded to final year students are ordered by the Graduation Office once the information is made available prior to graduation.
When the medals arrive from the engraver they are mailed by special delivery to the students. This is usually a few weeks after graduation.
Class medals for 1st/2nd/3rd year students are ordered in August. Once the medals have been delivered to the University, the students will be informed by the Graduation Office that they can collect their medal from College Gate reception, North Street.
