Failure to complete academic advising
You must complete the academic advising process, including meeting your Adviser of studies in person, every academic year.
You are expected, unless there are compelling extenuating circumstances, to complete the academic advising process by the advertised deadline in orientation week, and to keep any appointment with your Adviser of Studies that is arranged for you. If you do not, you will not be officially enrolled in any modules at the start of teaching, which may lead to academic problems later.
The final deadline for completing academic advising is 9am on Monday of the third week of semester. If you fail to do so:
- if you are an entrant student, you will not be allowed to start your studies and will have to re-apply to the University
- if you are a returning student, your studies will be terminated, without right to appeal
