What is Hall Sport?

The Hall Sport Programme is a series of leagues and one off competitions designed for students who live in halls. The programme runs throughout the academic year and provides students who live in halls with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of different sports and activities. All of the halls compete against each other in all of the different events, where they gather points that go towards their hall total. At the end of the year the hall with the largest points total is deemed the overall winner.

The Halls compete for 4 trophies:

  • Mens’ Champions
  • Womens’ Champions
  • Overall Champions
  • Most Improved Hall

Why play Hall Sport?

Hall Sport is an excellent way of getting involved with sport at the University either through playing or supporting your hall. It provides an opportunity to get involved with hall life, try new sports or activities, socialise and meet new people.
