Swimming 700

Introduction

The University of St Andrews Swimming Club is comprised of two groups - the Recreational team and the Competitive team. The Recreational group is an opportunity for all students to swim laps at their leisure during the scheduled pool times, while the Competitive team trains 4 times per week, and competes across the country.

There are 4 pool sessions per week, and the competitive team also attends two dryland sessions at the Sports Centre to supplement their training.

Anyone who is interested in the Recreational team need only pay the online membership at the University’s Online Shop. Anyone who is interested in the Competitive team must attend try-outs at the start of the academic year, as we require a certain level of swimming speed and ability from our members.
