Introduction

The University of St Andrews Boxing Club offers an ideal environment for our members to work hard, improve fitness and learn technique. The Club welcomes new members of any ability, whether you are looking to spar and compete, or just want somewhere to train hard and improve fitness, we encourage you to join.

With a rich history of success, the Club has seen many fighters, male and female, rise to victory in Scottish University, British University and Scottish Novice championships. You’ll see blood sweat and tears, but one thing is for sure, you will push yourself to a level you never knew possible, and will truly accomplish wonders.

Training and Competition

The Club trains three times a week, each session being suitable for those of all experience levels. For those looking to spar, Thursday sessions will have space available to do so. The club hosts an annual Fight Night, which sees events between fighters from St Andrews and other Scottish universities. The club also sends fighters to the Scottish University Championships each year. 

Recreational Sessions

Anyone interested in boxing, or boxing for fitness is welcome to attend any of the sessions.
