Parent & Child Classes (Age 2)
The Junior Saints 2's Gymnastics class is a parent and toddler class that aims to develop children’s gross motor skills such as jumping, climbing and balancing; using large and small apparatus, whilst building their confidence and promoting independent learning in a structured play environment. Sessions will run on a Tuesday Morning between 09:30-10:15
The Junior Saints 2's class is a parent and child class for children aged 2. The children will get to play lots of fun games and activities and get to try several sports including golf, football, rugby, tennis, gymnastics and athletics. The sessions run on a Wednesday morning from 09:30-10:15.
Preschool Activities (Age 3-5)
The Junior Saints pre-school programme is aimed at children aged 3-5. The children will get to play lots of fun games and activities and get to try several sports including golf, football, rugby, tennis, gymnastics and athletics. The sessions run on Wednesday mornings from 10.30-11.30 and Thursday afternoons from 13:00-14.00.
The Junior Saints Preschool Gymnastics class is aimed at children aged 3-5. The children will have the chance to develop key fundamentals of movement, co-ordination, balance and agility through the use of our balance beam, vault and floor apparatus. The sessions run on a Tuesday afternoon from 13:00-14:00.
The Junior Saints Preschool Football class is aimed at children aged 3-5. The children will have the chance to play lots of fun games, learn key fundamental skills and football specific skills. The sessions run on a Friday afternoon from 13:00-14:00.
The Junior Saints preschool Rugby class is aimed at children aged 3-5. The children will have the chance to play lots of fun games, learn key fundamental skills and rugby specific skillls. The sessions run on a Thursday morning from 10:30-11:30.
After school activities (Age 5-12)
The Junior Saints P1-P4 Gymnastics programme provides a pathway from the pre-school gymnastics sessions. The children progress their skills in balance, co-ordination, strength, agility and flexibility. The sessions are led by qualified coaches with the aim to improve basic skills across all apparatus. The session runs on a Monday afternoon from 16:00-17:00.
The Junior Saints football programme runs on a Friday afternoon and caters for children between the ages of 5 and 11. There are three sessions every Friday:
- 4pm-5pm for children in P1-P2 (aged 5-6)
- 4pm-5pm for children in P3-P4 (aged 7-8)
- 5pm-6pm for children in P5-P7 (aged 9-11)
The sessions are led by qualified coaches with the aim of teaching the children basic footballing skills like passing, dribbling and shooting and encouraging them to develop and use these skills in small sided games.
P1-P6 & P7-S2 Netball
The Junior Saints Netball Programme is a brand new addition to our programme! We have the highly successful Netball Director and her team coming in to coach. The classes are designed for boys and girls between primary 1 and S2, for children who are new and want to enjoy their first experience of netball, or for those who have played before. Our coaching programme is designed for all children to benefit, enjoy and develop individual skills and techniques in a fun and safe learning environment.
The classes run from 16:00-17:00 on Tuesday evenings.
The Junior Saints Badminton session takes place on Monday afternoons from 16:00-17:00. The children are taught all of the key components within Badminton, including all of different types of shots, which they get to put into practice in a wide variety of fun training drills and games.
