Class descriptions

Class Intensity, Impact and Difficulty Rating

The traffic light system is designed to help you decide which classes best fit your current level of fitness.

Green  A green class will generally be either floor based or low impact.
Amber Amber classes bridge the gap between low impact and high impact. In these classes you will be asked to push your limits but without the impact of red classes.
Red Red classes are both high intensity and high impact. These classes will involve running, jumping, bounding and even crawling your way to becoming a fitter you.

Amber Body Sculpt

This is a muscular strength and endurance based class designed to help strengthen all muscle groups using a variety of equipment e.g. dumbbells, barbells and resistance bands.

Red Circuits

Target all areas of fitness in the one class. The class is based around an interval-training format where bursts of non-choreographed aerobic activity are separated by periods of muscular strength and endurance work.

Amber Sunday Combo

A high energy cardio and resistance based class incorporating various exercises to get the blood pumping and the body moving dynamically.‌ 

Red HIIT & Core

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This interval-based class combines full-body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind before the busy days get started. Modifications for all fitness levels are provided.

Green Over 50s

The class is aerobics based with some conditioning work included is specifically for the over 50s. The class format will be varied weekly to ensure firstly, that a whole body workout is achieved each time and secondly, that your motivation and energy levels remain high.

Amber PiYo

PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. Due to the aerobic dynamic nature of PiYo it is also a great calorie burning, low impact workout.

Amber Spin

This non-impact cycling workout, you will pedal your way to a leaner, stronger body.

Green Rise Yoga

Get your day off to the best possible start with Rise Yoga. This class is suitable for all and will incorporate flow movements infused with a variety other dynamic postures.

Amber Total Conditioning

This is a 'no-nonsense' workout using simple moves that demand effort, rather than co-ordination. People of all fitness abilities can work out together, using barbells, hand weights, resistance bands and mats, as the weight lifted can be easily adjusted.

Amber Workshop Workout

Workshop workout is based in the gym using a variety of the cardio and resistance machines as well as dumbbells. This class will provide you with a whole body workout allowing you to workout at your own pace.

Amber Zumba

A fusion of Latin and international music and dance combinations will have you moving to a blend of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba blast is a 45 minute more intense version of this class is also available if your pushed for time.

  • ‌‌Red Boxfit

Punch your way to a perfect physique. Combining a variety of boxing drills using the pads and gloves along with effective body weight exercises; this class is great stress reliever where you can increase your strength whilst improving your cardiovascular and muscular endurance.‌ 

Green Complete Combo

This class involves a balanced programme of a variety of activities in each session including aerobics, step and resistance training. Choreography will be easy to follow allowing you to focus 100% on getting that total body conditioning!

Amber Kettlebells

Learn to use the Kettlebell in order to improve your posture, strength and mobility all whilst getting a great metabolic workout.

Green Pilates

Develop your strength, flexibility and endurance while challenging your core. Combination of controlled breathing and coordinated movements will improve your posture and muscle tone.

Green Pilates for All  

This class involves a series of Pilates exercises appropriate for all levels. Beginners are welcome.

Amber Intermediate Pilates

This class shall incorporate slow, focussed Pilates moves to develop flexibility, strength, balance and core endurance. With an emphasis on body alignment, this class includes both Standing Pilates and Mat-based moves. Suitable for anyone with Pilates experience wishing to progress their workout.

Amber Dynamic Pilates

Just as the name suggests this class incorporates the core firming dynamics of Pilates with the stretching and strengthening postures and spiritual aspects of yoga for the complete mind and body workout.‌


Everyone can practice yoga, regardless of age, experience of level of flexibility. We have a variety of yoga classes that vary intensity and style of teaching.

Green Stretch-Fit

A class designed to increase your flexibility. Focusing on improving posture most of the stretches will look at opening up tight areas and targeting muscles surrounding key joints eg. the shoulders and hips.
