Director of Sport, Stephen Stewart spoke of this latest appointment to the team:

Everyone at Saints Sport is delighted to welcome a Saint Andrean to the team and one who has so much vast experience in Sport Development.  As much as we like to support and develop individuals from within our team, the opportunity to appoint someone of Duncan’s calibre with experience from a Governing Body of Sport, Local Council Sport Development and College Education system is a really exciting prospect and one which I know will add a huge amount of value to the whole team.  Duncan will provide important leadership and guidance in this critical area of student sport and he will be invaluable to our growing Sport Development programmes. From our ever expanding Junior Saints programme, our excellent engagement programmes as well as our 60+ sports clubs, I’m sure Duncan will make a positive impact and help our staff and programmes to reach their potential and continue to deliver this unique St Andrews Experience.”
