Netball Coach Vacancy

Friday 30 June 2017

The University of St Andrews Netball Club is looking to recruit a Part-time Coach for the 2017/2018 season and beyond. The club has grown considerably in recent years and now boasts 5 competitive teams and an active social/development programme as well as other plans to develop our offering to students, staff and the community.  We need another coach to work within our current coaching team, under the guidance of the Director of Netball, to help deliver our exciting, player centred netball programme.

Saints Netball Club is built on strong values and ethos, we preserve this wholeheartedly, whilst improving our programme and activities year on year.  We were awarded Most Improved Club in the 2015/2016 Athletic Union awards, and a year later awarded Club of the Year 2016/2017.  This highlights the pace of change and the vision of this club to be the leading netball club in Scottish University Sport both on and off the court.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about netball, who has a positive coaching style which compliments the Saints Netball values.  We need someone who can bring new ideas and develop a strong relationship with both the club members and the current coaching team.   We are also looking for someone who has knowledge and experience of Video Analysis which is something recently introduced at Saints Netball.  Please see the Job Description below for more information.

If you are wanting to join our coaching team and you have the necessary skills, experience and style, with a passion for student netball then please get in touch by 21st July 2017. Please send a covering letter explaining how you meet the requirements of the job, and your coaching CV.  All applications should be sent to Heather Gaunt, Director of Netball: hg34@st-andrews.ac.uk
