Athlete of the month
Tuesday 19 April 2011
March 5th, 2001, saw Charli Reddish, a 4th year Marine Biology undergraduate, take the gold at Elite level at the Scottish University
Trampoline Open, making her the best female bouncer of all the UK universities at the competition. Charli has had a very successful season, winning several medals for St Andrews including bronze at a Scottish University Sport league competition and coming in first place at Elite.
Charli has been an active member of the University Trampoline club since her first year of studies, becoming involved right from the outset as fundraising co-ordinator only in her second semester at the university. Since then, she has served on the committee each year, being captain in her second year and head coach this year. She has shown fantastic dedication to the trampoline club and has greatly contributed to its success.
Not only has Charli seen great success on the trampoline at university level, but she has competed at the Scottish Gymnastics regional competition, where she reached a National C level and performed so well as to qualify for Nationals at the end of the year.
Congratulations and best of luck to Charli and the rest of the Trampoline club.
