Fencing marathon: 600 points for the 600th anniversary
Sunday 13 March 2011
In honour of the 600th anniversary of the University of St Andrews, the Fencing Club is holding a Fencing marathon to 600 points on 20 March, from 1pm - 10pm in Venue 1.
Two teams comprised of St Andrews fencers will be battling it out to 600 points – the longest match we’ve ever hosted. This event is open to anyone who wants to come along and get a chance to see some high quality fencing, it will be a great way to learn a little bit more about the sport and promises to be a fun social gathering!
Club Captain, Katie DeKeizer desecribed her excitement: "This is the biggest event the Fencing club has ever organised and we're all really excited to be playing our part in celebrating the university's 600th anniversary." - Katie DeKeizer
