These are enabled by a St Andrews fund in memory of former colleagues (Peter Clark, Sarah Broadie, and Katherine Hawley) that we have allocated to support PG research.<\/p>\n<p>Postgraduate students may apply for financial assistance, up to a total of \u00a3500 per academic year, to enable their attendance at conferences or workshops <strong>where they have had papers\/talks accepted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be considered in three rounds per year, with the following deadlines: 1 February (for a decision by mid-February); 1 June (for a decision by mid-June); 1 October (for a decision by mid-October).<\/p>\n<p>We expect applications to be made in advance of travel.<\/p>\n<p>Appropriate awards will be allocated to suitable applications, while funds allow.<\/p>\n<p>Students should apply using <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=yyZW-KgN00mqWGTvZ47wGlPDOZk5JmZOlOaP3fHMReNUNlBDVEFWRlVWRzVJMDc0SDRYWlEyNlNKOC4u&amp;route=shorturl\">this form<\/a>, which also provides further details and important conditions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SASP PGR Philosophy Programme provides additional travel funds for postgraduate students (MLitt, MPhil, MSt(Res), PhD programmes).
