GRADskills Programme Thematic Bundles
On the online course booking system you can see a chronological list of all of the GRADskills and Professional Skills Curriculum (PSC) workshops. On this page the workshops are grouped into thematic bundles; each bundle tends to be more relevant at a particular stage of the doctorate (first year, mid-way, final year). This will make it easier for you to find the workshops that are likely to be most helpful at the stage you are at, or ones that you are particularly interested in, eg if your supervisor suggests that you should develop a particular skill such as networking.
Please note: some bundles, such as Conferences & Networking or Microsoft Office, are “over-arching” in the sense of being relevant at all stages of the degree. Also, the bundles aren’t mutually exclusive, so the same workshop might appear in more than one bundle.
Each workshop listed below has been mapped against the domains of the Researcher Development Framework (RDF).
- A: Knowledge and intellectual abilities;
- B: Personal effectiveness;
- C: Research governance and organisation;
- D: Engagement, influence and impact.
You can also view the workshops organised by the RDF sub-domains.
