OSDS Interim Programme for Professional Staff

Within a day of the home working protocol being implemented OSDS we were up and running with online workshops, and the following have already been successfully delivered:

  • HR Policies for Managers (19 March)
  • Maximising Personal Effectiveness (20 March)
  • Managing People: Motivation and Performance (15 March)
  • Introduction to Management (27 March)
  • Effective Report Writing (27 March)
  • Working Effectively from Home (3, 6, 8, 9 April)
  • Customer Service Excellence (8 April)
  • Environment culture (16 April)
  • Time management (20 April)
  • Mindfulness (21 April)
  • Coaching: An introduction (22 April)
  • Resilience in the face of change - part 1 (23 April)
  • Dementia Awareness for people managers (23 April)
  • Action Learning for managers (30 April)
  • Assertiveness skills (5 May)

Feedback has been really positive, and the workshops have provided welcome opportunities for groups of staff to reconnect and learn together.

We now have a scheduled programme of online workshops up to the end of May as below.  Where these courses are part of a Passport programme, this is indicated.  Some sessions may be shorter than the original face-to-face sessions, and may now involve some pre-work in the form of reading, questionnaires etc.  Where this applies we will inform participants in advance.  If you have already booked a place, then you don’t need to do anything.  You will be sent an invitation and link to join the course.
