St Andrews Renaissance Singers

The St Andrews Renaissance Singers is a choir of around twenty-four members, students and staff of the university and members of the wider community, directed by Gillian Craig. The choir performs Renaissance music from across Europe, giving concert performances and singing evensong in the University Chapels, and on occasion undertaking summer tours in Europe. Renaissance masterworks form the basis of the repertoire for the 2018-19 session, including  Palestrina's 'Alma Redemptoris Mater', Parsons' 'Ave Maria' and Vittoria's 'O quam glorious est regnum'.

2018-19 Auditions: Wednesday 12 September 2.30-5.30pm and Tuesday 18 September 7.30-9.30pm. Singers with choral experience and some sight-reading ability are invited to audition. There are currently vacancies in all parts.

Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 5.30pm - 7.30pm, St Salvator's Chapel.

Contact Gillian Craig for further information.

Members are required to join the Music Centre.
