St Andrews Brass

Following the outstanding tradition of British brass playing, St Andrews Brass performs with a mixture of brass instruments in ten parts. Formed in 2010 with players from university staff and students as well as the local community, the ensemble gives several concerts throughout the year in St Andrews and beyond. With the recent appointment of John Wallace as honorary professor of brass the ensemble has established a close connection with the Wallace Collection.  Directed by Bede Williams,  their repertoire draws from the Renaissance right through to the present day, performing original works as well as arrangements of popular favourites.

Rehearsals: Tuesday, 17:00-18:00
