Museums are fantastic places for inspiring learning and creativity in pupils.  The collections held by the University of St Andrews across its four principal venues offer fascinating insights into a wide range of curriculum areas and give children and young people the chance to make connections with the people, events, artworks and environments they have learnt about in the classroom, developing their interest and firing their imagination.

The University of St Andrews has a dedicated team of Learning & Access staff who plan and deliver sessions for school groups of all ages and abilities, from nursery to school leavers, based upon learning outcomes from the Curriculum for Excellence.  To find out more about what we can offer visit the pages relevant to your pupils’ age group below.

Groups may be able to gain financial support for a trip to the museum through the Fife Council culture grant

For more information about school visits please get in touch with a member of the Learning & Access team.
