Hiring MUSA for events

MUSA can make a fantastic and unusual venue for a Reception or event. The galleries downstairs can host events for up to 150 people, out-with normal public opening times, with catering provided by the University’s Catering Services. Museum staff can provide guided tours for smaller numbers of guests.

Please note events being held outwith museum opening hours, and at weekends, will be subject to staff availability.

The Learning Loft is an educational space linked to the museum and its primary purpose is to host learning sessions connected to the museum displays and the collections. The Learning Loft is also available for corporate/external use. Where possible, we strongly encourage groups booking the Loft to include a tour of the museum or at least allow some time for participants to browse the galleries on the ground floor, to make the most of this unique space.
