Taught Masters Degrees

The School of Modern Languages offers a broad range of taught postgraduate courses. The MLitt degree is a one-year programme and is awarded after successful completion of both the taught element (120 credits) and a supervised research dissertation of 15,000 words (60 credits). Alternatively, students who do not wish to proceed to the dissertation but who have passed the taught part of the degree can be awarded the Postgraduate Diploma.
