Prizes and awards
A number of prizes are awarded annually to taught postgraduates in Management, in recognition of academic and non-academic achievement.
Taught postgraduate students who achieve an outstanding overall result are eligible for the Deans' List at the point of award or graduation. It is an award for academic excellence, promoted by the Deans of the University.

Head of School Prize
£100 awarded at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, to students in the School of Management who have contributed to the School, in particular in its outreach activities.
Macallan Marketing Prize
Awarded at the discretion of the Examination Board to the student from the MLitt Marketing programme with the highest overall average grades across the taught components of the programme and their dissertation.
Peter Grinyer MLitt in Management Prize
The Peter Grinyer MLitt in Management Prize is awarded annually at the discretion of the Examination Board to the MLitt Management student with the highest overall credit-weighted average (GPA), including both the taught element of the programme and the dissertation.
The Principal's Medal is awarded to students who display exceptional endeavour and achievement during their time at St Andrews, and is open to any discipline. In addition to high academic standards, such achievements could include sporting, musical, charitable or other activities or a combination of some or all of these. Up to three awards will be available each year. Each award carries a value of £2500 in addition to a specially produced medal. Student nominations must be made by a member of University staff. To be eligible for nomination, students must be either in their final year of undergraduate study or be a final-year postgraduate.
