The School of Management is offering four competitive PhD studentships, commencing September 2020. Studentships will comprise a stipend at RCUK level, which (in November 2019) is £15,009 annually, and tuition fees (at home/EU or overseas level) for three years.
Applicants to the PhD programme will be offered the opportunity to be considered for a School of Management Doctoral Studentship as part of completing their online application to do research at the School.
The PhD programme is now accepting applications from exceptional graduates in the School's areas of expertise which are organised around the following thematic research groups:
- Accounting, Governance and Organisations
- Financial Institutions and Markets
- Knowledge and Practice
- Organisations and Society.
In addition, the School welcomes applications aligned with the research agendas of the dedicated research centres and institutes:
- Centre for Research into Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
- Centre for Research into Information, Surveillance and Privacy
- Centre for Responsible Banking and Finance
- Centre for the Study of Philanthropy and Public Good
- Centre of Social and Environmental Accounting Research.
The School encourages those interested to make informal contact with potential supervisors prior to making a formal application. PhD proposals will be expected to be closely tied to one of the School's thematic groups or research centres. Applications should be made online by the closing date of Friday 31 January 2020. Please note that incomplete applications will not be processed.
